In class we have been reading the rainy season. We have been learning how to correctly retell a story. Here is my retell.
1: Maliᾱ says to nana and aunty ‘’ special air fares to Samoa’’
But Aunty Sina sharply says of course it’s the rainy season.
2: Nana is talking about what it is like in Samoa. And that
in the rainy season the rain gets heavier and heavier throughout the day and
that at night it beats on the roof like drums.
3: Maliᾱ walks into the airport shop and asks the flight
agent that she wants a flight to Samoa.
4: Maliᾱ getting in Samoa and Her Aunty putting fresh
flowers on her neck, as nana says thank you for taking me back.
