1 countries coming together to compete and see who is the best at certain sports .

2 to parade around the streets that the Olympics are coming.

3 by there uniforms

4 all the athletes in new Zealand compete against each other and figure out who comes 1^st 2^nd 3^rd in each sport and they represent that sport at the Olympics.

5 sprints , weight lifting , swimming , gymnastics , bike racing , shot put I did more than 5 because I knew more than 5 and just to state that I do know more than 5

6 yes  because if you didn’t wear shoes you would get sore feet and you have to wear the same things helmet for safety reasons.

8 by who is prepared example if france has all the tracks rivers courts and stuff they would be picked but if new Zealand had only the river they would not be picked its determined by who is prepared.

9 no because some countries don’t have rowers or a basketball team so they don’t compete

10 medals  gold for first  silver for second and bronze for first.
